Apple has released an additional software update for the newly released MacOS Mojave 1
The Supplemental System Software Update apparently includes a bug fix to resolve an issue where some Macs did not wake up properly from sleep, so it is recommended that all MacOS Mojave 10.14.6 users install.
Tagged as "macOS Mojave 10.14.6 Additional Update", the additional update is available for download now for all Mac users currently running MacOS Mojave 10.14.6.
The easiest way to download macOS Mojave 10.14. 6 Add-on Update is going to Apple menu> System Preferences> Software Update
Mac users can also choose to install the add-on as a package installer over an existing macOS 10.14.6 installation, available for download from Apple from the following link:
Release notes included with the add-on download are short, saying:
"MacOS Mojave 10.14.6 add-on fixes an issue that may prevent some Macs from waking up properly." Other bug fixes, security enhancements, or changes may always be included in the 950 MB supplemental update, but are not mentioned in the short release notes.
