Researchers at Adobe have developed a new type of transparent screen that lets virtual images and video appear convincingly next to real objects.
Glasser offers a way to gather the digital and physical worlds, but this approach requires that every person who looks at has a headset on, while this approach will allow the same effect to appear to many people at the same time, which will be more useful for retail and other settings.
The company plans to detail the efforts, known as Project Glasswing, at the Siggraf conference next week, but gave Axios a sneak peek at the company's headquarters on Thursday.
