Advanced Swift Workshop in Washington, DC
I will hold a one-day workshop on advanced Swift programming in Washington, DC area December 12th. If you like my articles and want to sharpen your Swift skills, check it out.
I will discuss the inputs and outputs of ARC and memory management, reference cycles, enums, generics, code design to take advantage of enums and generics, pointing APIs, and interfaces with C APIs. I've built a set of nifty Xcode playgrounds to illustrate everything, and participants will receive a copy of them as well as the presentations.
The format will be part-lecture, playground exercises, with plenty of discussion and personal support.
If you think that you might want to come, take a look at the event at Eventbrite. And if you know others who might want to come, please tell them about it!
In non-related news, since I'm sure some of you wonder, Volume II comes from my book slowly but surely and I hope to get it out of the door and come back to writing articles before much longer. Keep yourself updated!
