According to Amazon's new deal with Apple, the popular online store now sells direct some of Apple's products, and the first wave of devices is available today via MacRumors .
So far, Apple's products have already appeared on Amazon, including Mac, MacBook, iPads, Apple Watches, and even Apple TV. (One would think that it would be banned to compete too closely with Amazon's Fire TVs, just like Amazon does not originate HomePod to compete with the echo, but that's not the case.)
There is a particular lack of iPhone like Still going to Amazon as an official, Apple-sold product as part of the deal.
The official Apple product pages also contain all Apple's regular brands from their own website along with a custom header direction. The users of other products and accessories in that category are similar to what Amazon does for their own hardware configurations. Amazon's selection is also a bit more limited than what other resellers offer, with only certain configurations or color choices offered for some devices.
As part of the Amazon Agreement, only Apple or Apple Authorized Resellers may sell Apple and Beat Devices through Amazon website, and any unauthorized entries will be discontinued on January 4. That means there may be some confusion when the transition occurs.
