Apple debuted on a new TV site on Thursday focusing on the iPhone’s security and privacy features and released thinly veiled criticism of competitors Google and Facebook.
The 60-second site has a number of scenarios that show how Apple says it keeps users’ data safe.

There’s a man telling everyone on a bus that he was looking for eight divorce lawyers last night, a woman who had a conversation with her friend at work and said she hates one of her colleagues, another woman who tells a waitress that she bought a pregnancy test, and a man who continuously shouts his pulse.
The key word with the ad is that Apple’s technology keeps all that data safe, while competitors do not… Apple sees itself as, and without a doubt, more privacy-oriented than other technology giants like Facebook, which have been called out several times ever. since Cambridge Analytica data breach in 2018.
MacDailyNews Take: Brutally effective. Apple does not even have to say “Google” or “Facebook” since everyone with a brain thinks “Google” and “Facebook.”
