"Apple Inc. took over DataTiger startup in a move that could increase its digital marketing and make it more relevant to customers," reports Bloomberg's Mark Gurman.
"The US-based startup says technology can" optimize marketing travel "to customers by using data to send material to consumers as well as sending messages," Gurman reports. "In his LinkedIn profile, DataTiger's CEO Philipp Mohr said his company wants to" bring the old time of "mailing list thought" and slow campaign-based marketing to an end. "
Gurman reports," Apple is using multiple forms of digital marketing, such as e-mail messages to send new products and push notifications to encourage users to subscribe to services such as Apple Music.
