Stephen Nellis for Reuters:
Apple Inc. credit cards launched with Goldman Sachs Group Inc. will not allow the purchase of cryptocurrencies with the card, according to a customer agreement posted on Goldman's website on Friday.
The Apple Card customer agreement stated that the card cannot be used to purchase cash advances or cash equivalents that include cryptocurrency, casino game board, racing track games or ticket. Goldman declined to comment, and Apple did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
MacDailyNews Take: When it comes to jailbreaking, the Apple Card customer agreement also states explicitly: If you make unauthorized modifications to your eligible device, for example, by disabling hardware or software controls (for example, through a process sometimes referred to as "jailbreaking"), your eligible device may no longer be eligible to access or manage your account. You acknowledge that the use of a modified eligible entity in connection with your account is expressly prohibited, violates this agreement, and may result in us refusing or restricting your access to or closing your account, and any other means available to us under this agreement.
