"Apple CEO Tim Cook announced the donation of Apple products, including music software training to the city center, which was founded after Hurricane Katrina," reports William Gallagher for AppleInsider. "He attended a performance at school after joining Tulane University."

"After starting their starting address for the students at Tulane University, New Orleans, Tim Cook visited the city's Ellis Marsalis Music Center where he committed to donating Apple products to the school," Gallagher reports. ""

1," Gallagher reports. "The center already uses Apple hardware and software to produce music, and it has not been revealed what specifically Cook has donated. However, it includes software training."
