U.S. Patent and Trademark Office today released a series of 56 newly issued patents for Apple Inc. today. In this specific report, we cover a fully magnetic Apple Watch Band. While Apple offers leather and Milanese Loop Apple Bands that offer magnetic closures, Apple's patents cover a completely magnetic tape. The clock could be attached to a Mac, a refrigerator or a folding in the way that would act as a protective case when not used as shown in the patent FIG. 5B below.
Apple's approved patent 1
Apple was also given a new Apple Watch band patent entitled "Bandtightness Sensor of a Wearable Device" under number 10,206,623.
The invention of Apple relates to sensing density of a band A portable electronic device may have a processing unit and a health sensor included in a housing, a band which can be used to connect the housing to a body part of a user, and a density sensor connected to the tape. The density sensor may be able to produce a signal indicating the density of the band on the user's body part. The treatment unit can determine the density of the band based on the signal and perform various actions such as evaluating the signal for changes in the band density according to operational tolerances of the health sensor, and outputs the user to adjust the band to improve the operation of the health sensors, monitor changes in band density. and adjusting a measurement obtained by the health sensor, and so on.
Apple has another invention that covers this same theme that you can check out here. Apple has also filed for another patent on this topic to keep the band snug, so that health sensors could accurately measure vital late last month.
