And while Apple's marketing plans with the device are still to be seen, it is widely believed that the 10.2-inch iPad will be positioned as a replacement for the company's 9.7-inch iPad.
Echoing these reports, Digitimes relays that Apple's rumored 10.2-inch iPad is likely to be released sometime towards the end of the third quarter, that is, at the end of September. The timeline here is certainly reasonable given that Apple is likely to hold its special media event – where the new iPhone 1
From what we can gather so far, the rumored 10.2-inch iPad & # 39; It can boast a significantly larger form factor than the current 9.7-inch model due to the thinner frame.
It's also worth noting that one of the sources behind Apple's rumored 10.2-inch iPad comes from Ming-Chi Kuo, an analyst who probably has the best track record on the planet in terms of Apple rumors.
