US Patent and Trademark Office has published 42 new patents from Apple. One of the patents pertains to Apple headphones. The uniqueness of this headset is that it is capable of detecting orientation and turning off when the sensors detect that the user is no longer present.
Apple's patent talks about ear-headphones that will adapt to the ears no matter how you said it. Usually, the headphone jacks are labeled "Right" and "Left". Using the headphones incorrectly will cause improper use and lack of listening experience.
Apple's patent presents a pair of headphones that can be used by the user in any direction. Meanwhile, the earphones are equipped to adjust the sound automatically so that the right and left sounds are played as expected. It's worth noting that Apple did something similar to the lightning plug. No matter which way you insert it, it works quite simply.
The patent was first filed in the third quarter of 201
In this case, the sensors are used to determine which ear cup with a pair of headphones is located on which ear of a user. The resulting information is then used to divide the stereophonic audio signals over the left and right ear cups. Apple's headphone patent is aimed at providing users with added convenience just like the collapsible design patent and lightning plug introduced many years ago.
