Apple Photos for Mac can now turn snapshots into personal rugs and tasks



During the summer, the opportunity came to order large acrylic, canvas and metal prints on the Photos app for Mac with the Mimeo integration. Now the company is expanding its range further with Mac users who can turn photos into personal puzzles and rugs.

Apple no longer offers its own printing option in the Photos app for Mac, but it provided the functionality to third parties, and the integration into Apple’s app feels about as natural as possible.

One of the leading printing services that has integrated Mac Photos apps is Mimeo Photos, and it has expanded what is possible in the last year. The latest options include custom printed puzzles, children̵

7;s puzzles and two types and sizes of rugs that will give you some nice holiday gifts.

  • Tasks come in a variety of sizes from 8 “x 10” to 20 “x 30”. Users can print up to four different pictures per puzzle. Choose between landscape or portrait directions with a glossy or matte finish.
  • Children’s puzzles have pictures printed on large pieces for easy assembly. Available in sizes 11 “x 14” and 16 “x 20”. Choose between landscape or portrait directions with a glossy or matte finish.
  • Custom photo printing rugs are available in two options. Choose between an intricate woven fabric or super soft fleece rug in the sizes 50 “x60” or 60 “x80”.

Fleece rugs start at $ 59.99 and puzzles start at $ 17.99.

To get started with Mimeo Photos in the Photos app on Mac, you can download the macOS Mimeo Photos extension here. After opening it, follow the instructions and you will be redirected to the Photos app. Look for projects at the bottom left of the sidebar and click + to print with Mimeo Photos.

In addition to ordering the new custom tasks and rugs in the Mac Photos app, customers can also order via Mimeo’s website.
