Apple has recently shared a number of developer tools for the App Store, which include the creation of embedded tags, short links, QR tags, and App Store tags.
Developers can start by entering the app URL on the page. Apple will then generate tags, links and QR codes as needed.
QR codes are of particular interest as users can find the app and download it using the iPhone’s camera. QR codes can also be used in app clips that were introduced in iOS 14.
Developers can generate QR codes in different hues and use the app icon for a unique look. All this takes only a few seconds.
The new marketing tools are now available for viewing and access. Developers can go to the App Store Marketing website to get started.
Apple has made several updates to its Apple Developer Program. Just this month, the Cupertino-based company launched enhanced sandbox testing and developer subscription codes.
