Many countries have had LTE-enabled Apple Watches since September, but as always, some countries have only had access to GPS-only Apple Watch. For Norway, it is changing today.
Today, users in Norway will finally be able to purchase an Apple-compatible LTE-compatible Apple Watch Series 4. This includes all four-generation Apple Watch models, including Nike +, Stainless Steel, and Hermès models.
The first carriers supported in Norway appear to be Telia and Telenor. It is unclear whether Apple plans to expand supplier support beyond its original partners.
Fortunately, for those who are not on Telia or Telenor, LTE Apple Watches need not be activated with an operator when buying, with mobile service being completely optional. The downside is that users will pay more for LTE hardware despite not using it.
For those who buy your first LTE enabled Apple Watch, you can see how to learn how to enable it.
