Apple WWDC 2019 invites to go out for iOS 13 and MacOS 10.15 newspapers

Although we already knew the Apple WWDC 2019 keynote date before today, we just got into the most important press budget of June's developer conference.

That means we'll be able to give you the story of Apple's next software update June 3: iOS 13, macOS 10.15, watchOS 6 and tvOS 13, including likely beta software launches. It starts at 10:00 PDT / 1 AM EDT / 6 PM BST.

The actual WWDC 2019 invitation does not offer many keynote hints – all we have is an illustration of a unicorn head that explodes with bits of code and mobile associated icons bursting from the crane. Some have software on the brain.

We see the TestFlight app and Swift programming language logos (this is a developer conference), as well as the Apple Store game icon (a known rocket ship). Apple can shed more light on its Arcade Arcade service on keynote.

Will it be Hardware?

Apple WWDC keynotes have a mixed record of launching new hardware. Last year, WWDC was dedicated to pure software, but the year before saw the new MacBook Pros, new iPads and the premiere of the iMac Pro and HomePod.

The good news is that while we saw a MacBook Pro 201

9 specification upgrade in the last day, we are due to a Mac Pro 2019 and we have seen rumors of a cheap or screen-powered HomePod 2. So there is some hope that we will see more than just software in a few weeks.

Anyway, we will report on Apple WWDC 2019 live from the San Jose McEnery Convention Center Monday June 3 with a live blog.
