Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo definitely has a decent track record to get their predictions right, so when he talks, it's worth listening. He's been there again, this time talking about Apple's plans for Mac in 2019. They apparently include a new screen and updated MacBook Pros.
The arrival of a new Apple display is something that will make many people excited, and according to Kuo, there is a 31.6-inch model capable of a 6K display with background design similar to the mini-LED technology the company has worked with.
Apple doesn't have & # 39; t have made their own screen in three years, but with the arrival of the updated Mac Pro also expected this year, this is believed to be the year in which we see a new panel coming.
With regard to Mac Pro, we are in the process of what we call "utterly thoughtful Mac Pro." We're working on it. We have a team working hard at it right now, and we will archive it so we can keep it fresh with regular improvements, and we are committed to making it our highest end, high throughput desktop system, designed for our demanding pro customers.
As part of making a new Mac Pro – it is by definition a modular system – we will also do a pro display. Now you will not see any of these products this year; We are about to do that. We find it very important to create something good for our pro customers who want a Mac Pro modular system, and it takes longer than this year to do.
As for Mac itself, Kuo believes that a brand new MacBook Pro with 16-inch to 16.5-inch display is on the cards this year, although there are few details beyond that. The increase in screen size will bring it closer to the 17-inch MacBook Pro that Apple lovers liked so much, but was killed in 2012.
Kuo also believes that the 13-inch MacBook Pro can see an increase in RAM capacity of 32 GB (Via: MacRumors )
