What you need to know
- Apple has announced a new feature that will be seen on OS 7, and it is long overdue.
- Once watchOS 7 is installed, users will be able to change standpoints and training targets.
- The new feature was not announced when watchOS 7 was first shown at WWDC in June.
It’s a nice surprise for those of us who need to customize things a bit.
This is the first time the opportunity to change these goals is being offered, and honestly, it should not have taken that long.
Users will be able to switch glances from the Activity app on the Apple Watch, with settings available as little as 10 minutes of training and six standing springs.
Apple will release watchOS 7 along with iOS 14, iPadOS 14 and tvOS 7 to the public later today. It has gone through months of beta testing with developers and members of the public beta test program, but the GM building was only released yesterday. If you take the plunge today, make sure you have a backup ready in case!
Apple’s watchOS 7 update will be available for Apple Watch Series 4, Series 4, Series 5, Series 6 and Apple Watch SE.
