Hello everyone, looking for opinions from professional iOS devs on the case. I've been working my first software engineering job outside school for the past three months. It's full stack Angle + Spring Boot. It seems like most of my daily work is pretty mundane, especially Spring Boot stuff. I've always been a big Apple fanboy and have done some projects with Swift before. As a result, I strongly consider a career change in IOS development. However, my concern is that when iOS becomes my career, it becomes as smooth as my current, boring, pillow and business job. I have always had iOS when I hack through projects. Does anyone have any opinions on this? Are the daily issues solved in IOS development similar to the problems solved in any other tech stack? If the IOS turns out boring, I'll probably try to find a way to turn into the UX, as I don't think I can handle some 8 hour days of configuring spring comments and writing Mock MVC tests.
