I'm still running El Capitan, so I don't have that shortcut to show / hide hidden files. Some time ago, I have created auto-service, which uses the keyboard shortcut to show / hide hidden file depending on the previous state. I have just installed ourselves and decided to recreate what I did before, and I am determined to get
if [ Commandresult = State ]; So part for work.
#! / Bin / sh if [ defaults read com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles = "FALSE" ] then default settings type com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles TRUE Killall Finder else default settings type com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles FALSE Killall Finder fi
I've seen Show / hide hidden files without restarting, but I know that it may be shorter than this since I had been working on something like this before.
