Beginner training questions: AppleWatch



I got my first Apple Watch over the weekend and I have a possible stupid question about training.

In recent years, I have used the Fitness Buddy app on the iPhone to plan and track my workouts. I have created several custom training sessions and feel that I am too invested in it to change training apps. My problem is that there is no Fitness Buddy Watch app.

So today I did my regular Monday workout at Fitness Buddy and also started an Apple workout on my watch. So of course I have two workouts registered in my Activity app.

So my question is, how do people use exercise apps that do not have Watch equivalents?

I absolutely enjoyed watching heart rate monitoring and other statistics on the watch during Apple training, but of course I want my activity statistics to be accurate.
