There are many technical backpacks out there, although many of them seem to be targeting men. While we women do not necessarily need special "women's" technical backpacks, some of us like to have special features such as a wide variety of colors and patterns, a slimmer or lighter design, the ability to double as a diaper bag or just a more stylish look. These backpacks will hold up a laptop up to a 15-inch MacBook Pro and other important things for the woman on the go.
This is my own personal daily driver. The sleek and stylish design is really unisex and goes with some outfit. It's lightweight but solid and has a nicely padded laptop room. There are many pockets and space for all your other necessities. Choose from six colors.

This only smallest backpack is basically a portable sleeve with straps. It has two extra small pockets to carry your other equipment, but this is for the woman who really just needs to carry a laptop comfortably and not too much else. The adjustable straps can also convert the bag into a sling or messenger bag. It comes in two fun flower pathways.

Which one should you choose?
You can't go wrong with any of these backpacks: they all have a room or a man holding and protecting up to a 15-inch laptop.
When choosing a tech backpack, I see a few key elements: a padded laptop room large enough for my computer and a comfortable strap that interferes with weight properly (although a MacBook Air can become heavy if you keep it long enough). Additional pockets are a must to organize all other equipment. Charging stations are a nice feature to wear in a technical backpack, but not quite necessary in my opinion.
Because I'm a person who notices my style, it looks to me. My backpack needs to go with my wardrobe and fit in with my overall look. I also need my backpack to carry all my necessities, since I do not like to carry a purse or other bag in addition to my backpack. I always recommend Bellroy Classic Backpack to my friends because I use it daily and love it. It is streamlined in both style and function, but it contains everything I need in its multiple pockets. The portable part and shoulder straps are both generously padded.
If you're looking for something a little cheaper, I'll go to Dakine Garden Backpack. It has many pockets, including a padded laptop room, a fleece-lined sunglass bag, an organizational pocket, a front pocket, and two water bottle mesh pockets on the sides. I love the vast array of beautiful patterns from neutral to wild; You are sure to find one that suits every taste.
