Apple is reportedly planning to release new iPads next month. The famous leakster Jon Prosser revealed in a tweet that Apple plans to release new iPads along with new Apple Watches via a press release. Due to the coronavirus outbreak, Apple has cut back on holding physical events and has released many of its products this year, via press releases.

According to 91

Mobiles, the new upcoming iPad will have a design similar to the current generation iPad Pro. FaceID and no frames

Ditching the home button also means releasing fingerprint reading technology. Apple is likely to switch to using FaceID on its upcoming budget iPad. The device will reportedly have a 10.8-inch screen – slightly larger compared to today’s generation’s 10.2-inch screen. The upcoming 10.8 ”iPad will reportedly also switch to using USB-C, and release the lightning port.

To add more, the 10.8-inch iPad will reportedly have a smart connector, similar to the one found on the iPad Pro and iPad Air. It will allow users to connect keyboard and other accessories without any problems; without requiring to charge accessories separately. The iPad may also have magnets to hold the Apple Pencil, according to the 91Mobiles report.

It was a long time ago in May when Ming-Chi Kuo from KGI Securities, the renowned Apple analyst, reported that Apple will release a new 10.8 “iPad. It seems that Kuo was actually right this time as well. Given that the upcoming 10.8 ”iPad will be a budget-oriented device, it can be powered by Apple’s A11 or A12 chip with 3 GB of RAM.
