Canada and the United Kingdom receive health records from the iPhone



Now you can access health records and look at iPhones in Canada and the UK.

An update to the iPhone Health app shows that iPhone owners in the UK and Canada can now view their full health records and store them on their smartphones.

Canada’s Women’s College Hospital and the United Kingdom’s Oxford University Hospital are the first to adapt the new platform.

Kevin Lynch, Apple VP of Technology, mentioned that iPhone Health Records was designed to empower users and provide health records that can be viewed at any time. In the United States, the function is already supported by more than 11,000 nursing homes and 500 institutions.

With Health Records, users can consolidate their records from multiple locations without having to log in to each one of them. Integration takes place via direct encryption from the patient̵

7;s iPhone to the medical institution and vice versa, and shows vital signs, conditions, medications, laboratory results, procedures and more.

Apple promises that more medical facilities will support Health Records in the coming months.
