Connect your sunglasses and headphones with Bose’s latest frames – Review Geek

A model wearing Bose Tenor in dark and mysterious red / blue lighting. It will be very.

If you are running or cycling on a shared path where other pedestrians (or worse ̵

1; vehicles) may be, you need to hear what is happening around you. And the latest frames from Bose do just that by pairing a pair of fired speakers with sunglasses. They’re super cool.

To be clear, this is not Bose’s first foray into the world sunglasses with headphones– In fact, the company has had a couple of pairs since 2018 in the Alto and Rondo frameworks. But for 2020, things went bigger and better with three new pairs: stylish Tenor and Soprano, along with the sporty Tempo.

All three pairs provide more bass response and are more comfortable to wear than their predecessors – they also cost $ 50 more and come in at $ 250. For a decent pair of sunglasses and a good set of “headphones”, it’s not a bad deal .

The two stylish pairs, Tenor and Soprano, have 16 mm drivers and offer five and a half hours of battery life. They charge with the same proprietary cable as the originals, so they are a good upgrade option for anyone with OGs and are ready for something new.

Tempo, on the other hand, is more sports-oriented in every way. They have 22 mm drivers for louder sound, 8 hours of battery life for sessions all day, and charge via USB-C. They are also sweat, water, scratch and crush resistant. It sounds like you could kill them, and they still will not die. At the same price as Alto and Rondo, these seem like the clear winners of the gang, provided you do not mind the sporty aesthetics.

All three new pairs support integration with Siri and Google Assistant, dual-mic arrays for phone calls and touch controls for volume on the page. Bose says that each new frame supports a dynamic EQ that will also adjust with the volume to reduce distortion at higher volumes. Separate lenses are also available as an option.

All three new sets (along with both existing models) are now available from different retailers.
