Curious as to why people are adding apps (and which ones) to the Apple Watch: AppleWatch



Don’t get me wrong, I love the Apple Watch. I love exercise tracking, I love the ability to quickly see and get an update on time / weather / activity rings, I love breathing, I love the ability to get alerts on my watch, so I don’t have to take out my iPhone for everything.

That said, I’m curious as to why people are adding apps to the Apple Watch. I’ve found many of the apps I’ve added, either do not have much functionality at all, or they say outright “you need to use your iPhone”.

For those of you who install apps on Apple Watch, what benefits do you see from doing so, and what apps have you installed?
