Samsung last week unveiled its $ 1,980 Galaxy Fold phone that features a 4.6-inch display that unfolds into a tablet with a secondary 7.3-inch 21: 9 display. The first wave of product videos didn't really show the best features of the device, so the South Korean giant released a new showcase video that gave us our best look yet on the upcoming foldable smartphone.
The device runs Android Pie based One user interface out of the box and has a triple back camera setup. It can run three apps simultaneously in the folded split view mode. A feature called App Continuity lets you start working in an app in phone mode and pick up where you left off as soon as you unfold the device in the tablet mode.

Samsung's introduction video takes us on a tour of the collapsible smartphone and shows it from every angle. We also see how to take pictures, use maps, multitask and much, much more.

Since the launch of the first galaxy ten years ago, smartphones have been limited by an impenetrable rule – the size of the screen was limited by the size of the device itself.
Bob O & # 39; Donnell from Technalysis Research says, "We've reached the physical limit for what we can do with a single screen, but people want more."
If more, people want ha, is more what we are going to give them. By unpacking we showed you Galaxy Fold. Now let's get you close to the device and give you a glimpse of what you can unlock with this new form factor.
Galaxy Fold comes in black , Silver, Green and Blue, including the ability to customize the outside hinge shade, powered by the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor available in the Galaxy S10 series, equipped with up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of storage.
Here is the official revealing video.
Not to be expelled by Samsung, Huawei announced in China yesterday its own foldable smartphone, $ 2,600 Mate X. However, Samsung's phone comes in late April, while Huawei will not release the device before June or July, which gives Galaxy Fold an early lead
Both devices basically function as a technology display window for the collapsible display technology. Whether foldable smartphones can be called a stick or want to prove their resilience remains visible.
