Discover whether access to motion and orientation is enabled in Javascript – IOS

Unfortunately, Safari disables motion and orientation access by default in Settings> Safari> Privacy & Security> Motion and Orientation Access.

So what I'm trying to figure out is whether it's possible to detect if the user has this setting enabled or disabled. Is there a property on the window object in the browser that informs me that it is enabled?

I've tried to look up the solution on StackOverflow and various other sites, but they're either outdated or just not working.
