Does the alarm go off to see even when I am not using it? : Apple watch

First, I do not use my watch for bed. I think the idea is ridiculous.

During the last few weeks, if I leave the clock on or charge it overnight, my alarm will not sound on my phone – it will go to my clock. A couple of times it has vibrated off a table. If the clock is in another room, I simply do not wake up because my phone does not make a noise when the alarm goes off. None of these are good.

My only solution is to turn off the clock every night and not charge it, because you put it on the charger. (Which is also stupid.)

How do I fix this, or what does Apple want me to do?

Also, my understanding is that the watch should only receive alerts while it is on the wrist. I would like to receive notifications on the watch while using it, and not while not using it. Is it too much to ask?
