Does the Apple Watch always count calories? : Apple watch



I know that my calories will increase only passively. But if I walk around with the clock, does it count more calories than if I just sat down? It also counts more if I exercised a little while I was in place (like sitting down but lifting my legs). Because I would understand if it did more calories by walking around the house because of the movement, but not by the pulse if you were just in place.
