It's in the Favorites field here at the top of Safari. So, for example, you can see that I have all this text up here. Many people complain that the text is too small and everything. So this will help with that too. I can rename these with emoji. So I'll check click here and rename the first bookmark in the favorite field, and I'll add an emoji. So I'll use Control, Command, Space. Take up emoji here and let's get an apple emoji. It's a red apple. So I'll put it in there and maybe add some space. You can see how nice it is.
Let's go and do the same with the link to Apple's website. Control, Command, Space and let's go use the green apple there. You can do it with everyone else. For Facebook I can go and thumb. There we go, thumbs up. Put it there. For Twitter, I can look for a bird. We go there. We can just put a bird there. For Wikipedia we might look for a book. So something like that. We can use some emoji or special character at all you can set up there. You can already see how much better my favorite line here at the top begins to look just by putting some of these in place.
In fact, I might be able to save some space on some of these and actually just remove the text completely and even just emoji, for example. If the course is even easier if I make bookmarks, edit bookmarks, then I can go to Favorites and I can see them all here. I can go add more. I can have more emoji. There is no reason why I just need one in the beginning. I can put them at the end.
So there are many things I can do to color my favorite lists here by adding emoji to the bookmarks. The good thing is that I want to see these in the bookmark list as well. So I can see them here next, of course, to the little icons that appear. It would be nice if Apple would put these icons here in the favorite field. But since it's not, they are in the tabs, so it's nice to be able to add our own emoji and use them there too. So just a little tip for today.
