Fall Detection Works Again: AppleWatch

This last Saturday I went my dog. Here in western Montana we have had snow and lush cold every day for the last few weeks, and there are berms of ice and frozen snow along the streets and in every corner. I tried to cross one of these berms when I lost my balance on the uneven surface and took a hard fall on the pavement and rolled to absorb some of the impact. I managed to get up and restore my dog when my AW vibrated and chimed. It was false discovery and asked if I was ok. Since I didn't need emergency service, I chose "I'm OK". It was soothing to know that if I ever had a disruptive fall, help would be called automatically. BTW, I'm 80 years old, so this is even more important. Finally, I had a broken knee, a cracked rib and a lot of pain and discomfort over my shoulder blades. But I want to live to go another day. : -)
