I have a 1st generation Apple Watch (I know, it's old, but it was a gift), and I'm not sure if the battery dies out on its own. When I load it, it will go up to about 80% in a normal time period, but then it may take hours before it reaches 100%. Then I will take it off the charging station in the morning and leave it there (deactivated all incoming alerts) without touching it again and it will die in the evening. ALSO, when charged, the clock gets very hot as it is overheating.
Is this normal? I went into the Apple Store to run a diagnostics. It came back without problems so even the staff were confused. They recommended that I unpair and repair it again as I did, but no difference!
