Google recently announced that Google Maps will return to watchOS after disappearing from the platform in 201

7. Now Maps for Apple Watch is rolling out a new app update, although it lacks some of the standard watchOS features you get with Apple Maps.

After selecting a destination via the Google Maps app on iPhone, the Apple Watch displays an ETA and turn-by-turn directions. You can browse the list of driving directions on the Apple Watch, or change the travel mode from driving to walking, cycling, or driving public transportation.
