Step # 2. Open email (message) to the person you want to block in Gmail.
Step # 3. Now press More option that appears as (…) three dots in the right upper corner.
Step 4. Now press Block "Sender Name" from the drop-down menu .
That's it. The contact will now be blocked.
You can unblock the person in question likewise by following the steps above and selecting the option Remove Blocking .

Just follow the steps below to block someone from your Gmail account using a computer or laptop.
Step 1. Open Gmail using mail.google.com in the URL field of your browser.
Step 2. If you haven't signed in to your Gmail account, sign in now and open the email of the sender you want to block.
Step 3. Next, click three dots in the right corner far next to the sender's name and press Block .
Step # 4. Now, click Block again to confirm that you want to block this user and not want to receive any messages in the inbox. Instead, they would directly go into the spam folder.
You can also unblock that person's email in the same way by following the steps above and clicking Remove Block option.
