The messaging app on iOS 13 gets a custom contact profile feature for WhatsApp style. It gives you a separate place where you can have a different name and display image (which will not be related to your iCloud account). Step 7 : The last thing to choose is who to share this data with. There are three options: Only contacts Always ask and Some . It is best to keep these details only in the contacts, or anyone who gets your number from a spam directory and messages, you will immediately see your screen and your name. The Always Ask option gives you the greatest control over who sees this data, but it can be boring to go through the beginning of each conversation.

This feature will now behave based on the options you selected in the last step.

If you select the Always ask prompt, you see a small banner at the top of a New Call asking if you want to share the contact information with the other person (or people in the group cat). If you just select Contacts or Someone, you don't need to do anything in the future.
