If you have purchased a couple of Apple's training focused earplugs, you will be eager to use them to listen to music, take phone calls, use Siri and more. Continue reading to learn how to configure and connect them to your devices.
Update your software
As mentioned include Apple's second-generation AirPods new features not seen in Power Beats series of headphones, but to use them, make sure that devices are running the latest software.
On iOS devices:
If you want to use the new AirPods with an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch, make sure you're running iOS 2.1
In order to verify that the device software is updated, start the app Settings and select General -> Software Update and download any available updates if necessary.
If you want to use the new AirPods Mac, it must be running MacOS 10.14.4 or later. To verify that your computer is updated with the latest software, select System Preferences … from the Apple () menu in the upper left of the screen, and then click Software Update of the Preferences window .
If your Mac will find an update is available, click Update Now button to download the software and allow the software to be installed when prompted.
Set Up Power Beats Pro on the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch
Before you can start using your new Power Beats Pro ] with your iOS devices, there are a few steps you need to perform.
- Unlock iPhone, iPad or iPod touch . If your device is already unlocked, you can navigate to the Home screen.
- Bring Power Beats Pro -saken with earbuds inside – close to the unit and open the trunk lid.
- Wait for the setup animation to appear on the device screen.
- Touch Connect and then press Done .
- If you have not set up "Hey Siri " already on your device, you'll be guided through the setup.

If you have set up Power Beats Pro with your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch and your Mac's logged on iCloud with the same Apple ID, as the earphones should be ready for use with Mac. In that case, you just put them in your ears, click Bluetooth icon on the menu bar of Mac, select Power Beats Pro from the drop-down list, and click Connect .
Connect Power Beats Pro to Android devices
You can use Power Beats Pro with Android smartphones and other devices. You will not be able to use "Hey Siri ", but you can use them to listen and talk.
