I’m creating an iOS app to support a Bluetooth LE device. The first time the app starts, we pair up, but after that I will communicate with the device when it is within range. Using background modes, this works well when the app is started and runs in the background and the screen is turned off. However, when the phone restarts, the app must be restarted before it can detect the device.
Is there any way to get the app to start in the background when the BLE device it is paired with comes close?
