The well-known toy "Steve Hemmerstof" has shown that Apple's upcoming iPad mini 5, which is expected to be announced on March 25, will have less special bumps.
Inhibitors have allegedly received the CAD reproduction of the next-gen iPad mini, suggesting that the new tablet will look quite like its predecessor. Not that most of us were expecting 7.9 "iPad to flaunt the high-end specifications; the leak can just put all the clouds to rest.
iPad Mini 5 Will not flaunt high-end specifications like Edge-to-Edge Display and Face ID
Leaker has tweeted it except moved microphone, the tablet will have no external design changes, however, the device is expected to pack in some stronger innards.
Just got my hands on the claim # iPadMini5 CAD. If legitimate (cannot guarantee 100%), it is actually (as rumored) no external design changes (except moved microphone, centered on rear panel). In short, it will most likely be a specific bump only update … pic.twitter.com/z5XuBKZVmN

The compact iPad will have a low-cost image panel in the same form factor. that is going to be part of the unit is lightning plug, touch ID and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. Also, it is also likely to support Apple pencil and the smart keyboard.
There may be a few main reasons why Apple has decided not to add state-of-the-art features like Face ID and edge-to-edge screen. First and foremost, it will reduce costs and make the iPad available at a low price. And the other, tech giant wants to tighten its grip on the budget segment.
iOS 12.2 beta and registration with the Eurasian Economic Commission have given enough indication that the Cupertino-based company is all about introducing the new iPad mini and the upgraded iPad in the spring.
However, it is not clear whether these devices will be unveiled in the long awaited event where Apple's streaming video service and news subscription service is rumored to be the focal point.
That's all for now!
A Wise Move …
Agreed, this news may disappoint many fans who had expected the new iPad mini to have high end specifications. But by upgrading the innards and making the tablet more capable, Apple intends to make the device a viable option in the budget segment – which seems to be a safe (if not wise) move-at least for now.
