iPhone 12 concept video assumes future revolutionary all-screen iPhone – BGR

We're just a few weeks out of Apple's WWDC 2019, but you shouldn't expect to see much in the way of hardware notifications under the main address. As usual, Apple is ready to debut the follow-ups of the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and the iPhone XR on a separate event in September, but as has been the case for many years, many of the alleged details of those devices have already begun leak online.

According to these leaks, the iPhone series in 2019 will look almost identical to the latest generation of iPhone models. Save for a Triple Rear Camera on both the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Max (and a dual rear camera on the iPhone 11R), the 2019 iPhone series won't break much new ground from a design perspective … that's why we thought it would be a fun challenge to jump even further into the future and dream up a potential iPhone 1

With many notable smartphone manufacturers, we already find new ways to eliminate the notches Apple helped pioneer just two years ago – including the Infinity-O screen of The Galaxy S10 and the pop-up selfie camera on OnePlus 7 Pro – it's just a matter of time before Apple follows. The video below contains an iPhone rendering with a hole on the front panel display, mirroring Samsung's 2019 flagship smartphone design:

As you probably have noticed, it's not the only remarkable design change. We also stuffed a large number of nine cameras on the iPhone 12 – two on the front and seven on the back. Considering that Nokia 9 PureView is launched with six lenses two months ago, this may not be as much of a stretch as it appears at first glance.

There are some other fun details scattered throughout the video, including a wonderful Royal Blue model that we would love to see added to the flagship iPhone series over the years to come. But at the end of the day, with the 2019 series somewhat unexciting, we expect big things from Apple in 2020 and beyond.
