Suddenly, when I try to watch a featured video / live TV on the CNN Go app, I get an error, saying my account is not authorized to view this content.
I went out to my cable provider. They said everything looks good on their side. In addition, the CNN app works on other devices. Also other apps connected to my cable account have no problems. Therefore, the problem is isolated for CNN Go on Apple TV.
I tried to log out, sign in again. I tried to uninstall and reinstall the app. I tried both of these with a restart before installing again. Whatever I do, I can log in successfully, but when I try to see something other than their free content, I get the same message (you're not authorized to view this content …).
