Is it really a very bad idea to go full with streaming / renting with my Apple Music subscription? : AppleMusic

I have a fairly large library (6000 songs, all illegally downloaded to be ready), but I recently started working and I wanted to do my part and contribute (a little, I know) to the music industry by buying one streaming service subscription.
I am considering the possibility of renting out completely, not uploading my songs and just streaming Apple's, but it seems that this is generally considered a bad idea.
So here I take my pro and cons of it.
Pro:

  • music is already tagged and with a cover

  • I don't have to go through any hoops to download songs illegally and then upload them to the cloud

  • that's all there when I hear a song I like to press plus, and it is in my library

  • I contribute a little to artists I like

Cons:

  • I really do not own the songs, so if Apple leaves the business or changes Something, I can't access them anymore, but that's the case for some s treaming service and I don't understand why it's never been mentioned as a disadvantage for things like Netflix for example

  • I have to put my iPod classic to sleep [19659006] I'm interested to see what you think and how you approach the "problem".
