Jamf updates apps with support for iOS 14, iPadOS 14, tvOS 14

The mobile device management company Jamf has updated its portfolio of products to support Apple’s list of new software releases on Wednesday.

Jamf said that the entire portfolio of software products is now compatible with iOS 14, iPadOS 14 and tvOS 14. These updates, along with watchOS 7, were released earlier on Wednesday.

The company said that, in addition to general compatibility with the new releases and updated features such as a Jamf Teacher option for remote learning, the products now include key features such as shared iPad enhancements and VPN authentication enhancements.

For example, IT administrators can now deploy mobile device configuration profiles for Jamf-registered iPads, making a configuration profile available to users when they log on to a device. There are also new distance learning updates related to Apple Schoolwork and Classroom.

Jamf said that compatibility will also come to macOS Big Sur on the same day when Apple launches the update later this fall.
