LeftyMessages makes iOS ‘Messages app easier for left-handers to use

The iPhone’s Messages app is a particularly well-planned application with a simple user interface that most people have no problem using, but if you are of the sinister variant (left-handed), you may tend to disagree with that feeling. Fortunately, the jailbreak community is here to help.

LeftyMessages is a recently released and free jailbreak tweak by iOS developer Paperman369 which tries to make the Messages app easier for left-handers to use with one hand by moving certain frequently used controls to the left of the screen.

As shown in the screenshot example above, LeftyMessages switches the pages of the text field occupied by the send button and the Apps / Camera buttons. This in turn allows a one-handed left to send messages with only the left thumb – a pleasure of luxury that a right-handed person would already have.

The customization was allegedly created in response to a request sent to / r / jailbreak, and from what we can gather, it is already receiving great praise.

LeftyMessages has no options to configure, so what you see above is really what you get. Other aspects of the app are alone as they were intended.

If you are interested in trying LeftyMessages, you can download tweak for free from 0ver $ hadowed repository via your favorite package manager. Furthermore, tweak supports jailbroken iOS 13 devices.

Those who do not already use the 0ver $ hadowed repository can add it to their preferred package manager using the following URL:
