I get involved in some pretty active experiences, and yes, I know this may not be the best environment for an Apple Watch. Having said that I recently lost my watch with a sports band to the river on a bridge jump, I guess the hydropower released the "lock" on the sports band.
Ordered a new watch band with a traditional "buckle" as a replacement. It is connected to a clock with the traditional spring-coated pins used by ordinary watches. I found yesterday that while sailing the spring loaded pin is not strong enough and dropped my watch down on the deck. Fortunately, I was able to retrieve it.
This brings me to reddit to find a band that doesn't use the spring loaded pins and has a traditional buckle. What's out there?
