Created by App Maker Rational Design, Minimal Cal is a new calendar app for iPhone that delivers the experience of managing events and settings by including great typography, minimal design and easy navigation. Can you do calendar applications?
At the first startup, Minimal Cal will set up a query to get permission to access the system calendar information it needs to view your events in the app.
Do not worry if you have multiple calendars on multiple accounts and you can choose cherries that you want to see from the Minimal Cal interface at any time.
ROUNDUP: The best calendar apps for iPhone
] And because this app is integrated with Apple Calendar, you can create, remove or edit events in the storage calendar and make changes to Minimal Cal, and vice versa. As a page, you can add or remove calendar services in Settings → Password and Accounts.
You will immediately notice that the app is decluttered to be minimal (which is great) while taking advantage of the known movements and Elegant Style (which I'm big fan of) for maximum clarity and simplified navigation.
Event Purchase in Minimal Cal
To create a new event, press the continuous round orange button found in the lower right corner. Up displays a screen interface where you can enter details like event title, start and end date, location, participants, calendars, notes, and so on.
TUTORIAL: Showing Friends Birthdays in Apple Calendar Navigation from Year → Month → Day could not be easier, just swipe left and right. By default, you start in the month view. A sweep to the right takes you to the year's view.
Just swipe to move between the different views
From there, do another swipe to the right to come to the screen with options to send feedback and manage calendars. Tap the Calendars option to be presented with all calendars on your device and turn off those you do not want to see in the app.
A swipe to the left of the month view shows your agenda for the day. Simply tap an exciting calendar event to edit it, with the changes syncing automatically with all your devices via iCloud. By pressing the top of the screen while in the day view, go to the default month view.
You can turn iOS calendars on and off at any time
In short, all the features you see in the storage calendar applet when editing an event are supported by Minimal Cal app (but less messy), including creating repeated events.
ROUNDUP: The best calendar apps for iPad
I only miss two things, a native iPad interface and a week view. They will surely recognize Minimal Cal to add more features because an app like this would look amazing on iPad, both in fullscreen and in the Slide Over multitasking view.
