Apple has started selling the latest 5K UltraFine display from LG, which is one of the first to support iPad Pro 2018.
Previously UltraFine LG displays did not work with Thunderbolt connections, but the new one has USB C port through DisplayPort, making it compatible with current iPad Pros and Macs.
USB-C provides many connectivity options where there were none before. Now LG UltraFine 5K display users can get their iPad Pro in 5K resolution, but it is largely a niche market that caters to a very specific audience.
LG's 5K UltraFine display shows a resolution of 5120 with 2880 in a shell similar to previous models. The 27-inch display features a built-in microphone, webcam and speakers, and 3 USB-C ports for wired accessories.
The 5K display is priced at $ 1
