So I had used bootcamp for dual boot mac and windows on my macbook air. At some point, I started to get back to Mac from Windows. When I click on boot macos, it would make an error that the boot volume was not found. To fix this, I would just turn on the machine while holding the selection button and selecting the mac partition. Another strange feature when I booted the machine would be Windows as default. Today I decided to wipe both partitions and start from scratch. Right now I only have MacOS installed. When I start the machine, I get a load line before MacOS starts. It works fine, but I seem to remember a faster startup with the boot tune that no longer plays. Is this just High Sierra or is it something wrong?
