Hi guys! I’m not a frequent Redditor, but I’m happy to share my major 4.0 update to my music cover Picky (https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/picky-filter-browse-play-your/id497110916? Mt = 8 & uo = 4 & at = 10l6Xt & ct = reddit) with you all.
Picky is aimed at people who prefer to listen to albums, has large music libraries (Picky works with iTunes and Apple Music), and has strong opinions about how their libraries are sorted and filtered. I have actually been working with this app for almost ten years (from January 🤯), and it has been in the App Store for almost nine years. It’s a paid app ($ 2.99 US) with optional in-app purchases (IAP is just to support the app and get some bonus icons)
A large part of Picky’s lifetime has been getting good feedback and suggestions from users and potential users, as I actually gave a “lightning” speech at the conference at NSNorth 2016. Do you have questions or suggestions on what Picky can or cannot do? Fire away!
Although I am a full time iOS developer of commerce, Picky is more of a passion project / side project for me, and I would like to answer questions people in the comments may have about iOS development, how side projects and full time work can complement each other (I firmly believe on this), or something about Pickys ~ 9-10 years history.
