The Pixelmator team released version 1.3.4 of the Pixelmator Pro image processing software, adding the new ML Match Color feature that matches the colors of different images using machine learning. Use ML Match Colors by dragging and dropping images on the color alignment pane, or pasting objects into images. When dragging and dropping objects into compositions, press and hold the Command key to apply ML Match Colors to the inserted object.
The update also adds a Free Transform feature that lets you adjust perspective, skew, distort, and resize the layers using different image scaling algorithms. Any layer can be transformed, whether it be text, a form, a group, an open layer, or a RAW layer. The release also allows centering inserted objects by pressing and holding the Shift key, enhancing the zoom performance of files with a large number of layers, fixing an error that will cause colored shapes with masks to be copied incorrectly, making Constrain Proportions for RAW possible by default, and store PPI settings correctly in Photoshop documents.
