Apple has announced that registration for AR experiences is now open in various Apple Stores.
ART Walks will be held in Tokyo, Hong Kong, Paris, London, New York and the San Francisco Apple Store, featuring various augmented reality works by leading modern artists.
All Apple Stores will have ART Lab sessions that will teach people how to create an augmented reality through an app called Swift Playgrounds. Sarah Rothberg, a New York-based teacher and artist, will show individuals how to interact with whimsical objects and experience all-engulfing sounds.
There will also be an AR-based art installation that can be seen in any Apple Store around the world. Those interested can download the [AR] T Viewer on the App Store and view and interact with the "Amass" piece created by Nick Cave.
Visit the Today Web site at Apple to sign up for the new AR experience, available from August 1
